Let me take this opportunity to introduce AIMIS, All India Medico Informatics Society , a society engaged in bridging the gap between Medical and IT Field.
The main motto of the society is to promote IT awareness to Medico Professional and get them educated about the advances in IT field so as to assist them in getting right information at the right time.
I appeal to you for supporting the cause for Developing Medico Informatics in India.
The aim of the society is to promote the Use of IT in Medico Professionals and to promote the Rural Health care through Telemedicine and Clinical Decision Support System. Now this is possible in India, because of availability of Internet and this forms the basis that top notch Doctors can give consultancy to rural areas and the people there can avail the same facility at say cheaper cost and in turn the motto of "Pledged to Save Millions" can be achieved.
We have successfully organised and conducted our First National Conference on Medico Informatics in Nagpur on 15th & 16th April 2006, at Hotel Pride.
We thank you all for the support you have given to make this conference a banchmark in the field of Health Informatics.
We are planning the 2nd National Conference INFOMED 2008.This will have the gathering top IT companies who are working in Medical Field and top notch Doctors across India, where there will be two-way interaction between them.
We are also planning to have a Health Exhibition where there will be Patient Awareness and General Public Awareness, as well as we will be displaying the latest products and latest advances in the field of Health Informatics to Medical Professionals.
This event can be looked as a platform where the two communities can share their views and work towards the betterment of Community. The focus of the Conference is Use of IT in Medical Field and promotion of Health Informatics in India.
